OmahaSpots is a local discovery guide. We gather information and opinions about places in and around Omaha and present them as rankings, scores, planning tools, and editorial picks. Preview scores currently use clearly labeled synthetic scoring scenarios, while cited facts and third-party mentions are shown separately.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or speaking for a listed place unless we expressly say otherwise. We do not accept payment or favors to change placement.

We work to be accurate and honest, but cannot guarantee that information is complete, current, or error-free. Listings may be seeded from public sources, approximate, or out of date. Hours, prices, menus, ingredients, ownership, accessibility, and operating status can change without notice.

Confirm important details directly with the business before relying on them.

Scores, rankings, confidence labels, and editorial picks are opinions or models of opinion, not objective facts, endorsements, or guarantees of quality, safety, value, legality, or suitability. Reasonable people will disagree.

A “verified,” “source-checked,” or similar label means only that the specific source, identity, visit evidence, or listing detail identified beside the label was checked as of the stated date. It does not mean we inspected the premises, audited the business, or guarantee safety, cleanliness, licensing, accessibility, or current status.

Nothing here is medical, allergy, nutrition, food-safety, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Ingredients, preparation, menus, and cross-contact practices can change. If an allergy, dietary restriction, pregnancy, disability, or medical condition matters, contact the venue directly and use your own judgment. In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.

Alcohol information is for adults of legal drinking age. Drink responsibly, follow applicable law, and never drink and drive.

OmahaSpots does not sell food, make reservations, process payments, provide transportation, or act as an agent for a venue. Map, call, menu, delivery, ticket, and reservation links lead to third parties. Any transaction or dispute is between you and that provider.

If you send feedback, corrections, suggested places, opinions, photos, or other content (“Submissions”), you confirm that you have the right and permission to send it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it is not unlawful, defamatory, infringing, private to someone else, or otherwise harmful.

Do not submit fake or misleading reviews, impersonate someone, hide an ownership or employment relationship, condition an incentive on positive or negative sentiment, or ask us to suppress an honest negative opinion. Owners, employees, agencies, creators, and anyone receiving money, free products, meals, discounts, gifts, or another material benefit must disclose that relationship clearly. Corrections and good-faith disputes are welcome.

You keep ownership of your Submission. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, edit for length and clarity, publish, and display it as needed to operate and promote the guide. For factual business details, that license lasts while we reasonably use the detail and in archival records. For a Local Voice identity, quote, or photo, you may withdraw consent prospectively by contacting us; we will remove it from OmahaSpots within a reasonable time, subject to backups, legal obligations, and material already shared by others.

Nothing here restricts your honest review of OmahaSpots, requires you to transfer copyright in that review, or prevents you from reporting unlawful conduct. We may fact-check, label, decline, edit, or remove a Submission and do not promise confidentiality unless we expressly agree in writing.

A local tip is treated only as a lead for research and moderation. Submitting a tip does not publish it, create a consumer review, establish that a fact is true, or change any score or ranking. We may independently verify it, ask for supporting context, or decline to use it.

A signed business check-in link shows that someone accessed the inbox to which we sent it; it does not prove ownership or make every response true. Business confirmations and corrections are moderated. We may require stronger evidence for ownership, closure, accessibility, licensing, food-safety, dietary, or allergen claims.

To request a correction, removal, privacy response, or review of alleged copyright, trademark, impersonation, or defamatory material, email us with the page URL, the specific content, the basis for your request, your relationship to it, and a reliable way to contact you. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and will evaluate it in good faith; a request does not guarantee removal.

Do not use the site for unlawful access, disruption, malware, excessive automated requests, evasion of safeguards, unlawful collection of personal information, or conduct that violates another person's rights. Ordinary search-engine indexing, accessibility tools, and personal, noncommercial use are allowed.

The site's design, original text, code, and editorial content belong to us or our licensors. Business names, logos, and trademarks belong to their owners; we reference them to identify and comment on those places. You may link to us, but may not copy a substantial part of the guide for a competing service without permission.

External sites are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse their content, accuracy, availability, security, accessibility, or privacy practices. Their terms apply when you use them.

The site is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use it only with a parent or guardian's permission. Alcohol content is intended only for people of legal drinking age.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. This does not waive any right that applicable law does not allow us to waive.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of OmahaSpots and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its information. Our total liability for a claim relating to the site is limited to USD $100 or the amount you paid us to use it, whichever is greater. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse the operator of OmahaSpots and its operators for reasonable third-party claims and costs caused by your unlawful Submission, intentional misuse of the site, or material violation of these Terms. This does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct or where applicable law says otherwise.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site and restrict abusive access. We do not promise that any feature, listing, saved browser data, or shared link will remain available.

We may update these Terms. We will change the last-updated date when we do. Continuing to use the site after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

Nebraska law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. State and federal courts in Nebraska have jurisdiction over disputes not resolved informally, except where consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to another law or forum.

If a provision cannot be enforced, it will be narrowed only as much as necessary and the rest will remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement about the site unless we enter a separate written agreement.
